- I have felt I was a farmer for as long as I can remember. In the fifth grade my parents bought a small farm and in the house I found two college textbooks that became my favorite books and constant companions: Modern Breeds of Livestock and Morrison's Feeds and Feeding, both published in the '40s. But since I would not be inheriting a farm I needed an outside income. This outside income became dentistry. This profession has allowed to pursue my true calling---farming.
